When it is necessary for an employee to be absent from that employee's employment for the purposes of attending a funeral or arranging therefore, an employee (other than a casual employee) shall be entitled to a maximum of three days' leave at ordinary wages as prescribed on each occasion and on production of satisfactory evidence of the death within Australia of the employee's wife, husband, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, brother, sister, child, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Wife or husband as referred to in this clause shall include de-facto wife or husband.
