32. JURY SERVICE

32.1 Notice of jury service

If an employee is required to attend for jury service, the employee must:

• notify the Company as soon as possible of the date on which the employee is required to attend for jury service; and
• provide the Company with proof that he or she did actually attend for that jury service, including details about the length of the attendance and the amount received for the jury service.

32.2 Payment of jury service

If an employee is required to attend for jury service during his or her ordinary working hours, the Company will pay the employee the difference between:

• the amount employee received for his or her attendance for jury duty; and
• the amount of single time pay he or she would have received if he or she had been at work.

32.3 Exclusion

This clause does not apply to Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers employed by the Company.
