33. RECALL TO WORK

33.1 An employee who is recalled to work overtime after leaving the place of employment, shall paid for a minimum of two hours work at the appropriate rate for such time recalled, or be granted equivalent time in lieu in accordance with 31.8 hereof.

33.2 An employee recalled shall not be required to work the full two hours if the work to be performed is completed in a shorter period.

33.3 Clause 33 – Recall to work, shall not apply when overtime is continuous with completion or commencement of ordinary working time.

33.4 Except as provided for in 33.5 hereof, where an employee is recalled for duty on her or his rostered day off, she or he shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of this clause and shall be entitled to substitute another day for the rostered day of.

33.5 Where a weekly employee has been given reasonable notice that she or he will be required to work on his or her rostered day off due to an emergency, the employee shall be paid at ordinary time for that day and a substitute day off shall be granted.
