1. TITLE
This award shall be known as the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry (Roping-in No. 1) Award 1999.
2. PARTIES BOUND
This award shall be binding upon:
2.1 The Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia, its officers and members; and
2.2 The employers listed in Schedule 'A' hereof in respect of their employees, whether members of the union or not, engaged in the performance of work within the scope of the award.
3. APPLICATION
Subject to that which is otherwise provided in this award, the provisions of the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Industry Award 1998, as varied from time to time, shall apply.
4. OPERATION
This award shall come into force from the beginning of the first pay period commencing on or after 29 March 1999 and shall remain in force for six months.
