1. TITLE
This award shall be known as the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry (Roping-In No.1) Award 2004.
2. PARTIES AND PERSONS BOUND
This award shall be binding upon:
(a) The Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (the Union); and
(b) The Employers set out in Annexure “A” in respect of their employees who are engaged in the performance of work within the scope of the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry Award 1998, whether members of the Union or not.
3. APPLICATION
This award known as the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry Award 1998 as varied from time to time, shall be binding according to its terms upon the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia and upon the respondents named in Annexure “A” to this award.
4. COMMENCEMENT AND DATE OF OPERATION
This award shall come into force from the beginning of the first pay period to commence on or after 3 June 2004 and shall remain in force for a period of six months.
