22.1 For the purposes of this clause:
22.1.1 Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before midnight.
22.1.2 Night shift means any shift finishing subsequent to midnight and at or before 8.00 a.m. or where the majority of time worked is between the hours of midnight and 8.00 a.m.
22.2 A shift worker whilst engaged on shift work shall be paid in addition to the rates of pay set out in clause 15 - Classifications and wage rates, of this award and amount equal to the following relevant percentage of such ordinary rate:
22.2.1 20% when working an afternoon shift;
22.2.2 20% when working a night shift;
22.2.3 30% when working on a night shift which does not rotate or alternate so as to give an employee at least one third of the employees working time on day work;
22.2.4 50% for all hours worked on a night shift between midnight Friday and 8.00 a.m. Saturday.
