PART 2 - EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP AND RELATED MATTERS
2.1 LETTER OF APPOINTMENT
Each new employee, prior to the commencement of their employment shall be given a Letter of Appointment which shall state: the position to which the employee is appointed; commencing salary; commencement date; hours of work; the duties of the position and the conditions of employment.
For persons employed on a fixed-term contract or as a casual employee, the letter of appointment shall also specify the period of appointment. In the absence of a specified period of appointment, appointments are on-going.
