13. EMPLOYER DUTIES

13.1 Statement of engagement

A commercial traveller and wholesale merchandiser, within 28 days from the commencement of this award, or where the employment commences after such date, within fourteen days from the commencement of the employment, shall be provided by the employer with a written statement containing the information set out hereunder:

13.1.1 the remuneration payable;

13.1.2 the vehicle allowance payable;

13.1.3 the rate, or where there is more than one rate, the rates of commission payable;

13.1.4 the conditions and terms on which commission, or any part thereof, is payable or is not payable;

13.1.5 deductions, if any, which are made or may be made to the commission payable; and

13.1.6 if the traveller has a territory, the boundaries or limits of such territory.
