29. SUNDAY WORK

29.1 An employee who elects to work within the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on a Sunday, as part of ordinary hours, must be paid double time per hour of the ordinary hourly rate for full-time employees, for all time worked.

29.2 A full-time or part-time employee is entitled to a minimum payment of the rate referred to in 29.1 as for three hours.

29.3 A casual employee is entitled to a minimum payment of the rate referred to in 29.1 as for two hours.

29.4 Apprentices, juniors, hairdressing trainees and hairdressing graduates must receive the additional payment referred to in 29.1 according to their relevant percentage of the qualified or adult rate.

29.5 Note: A casual employee working on a Sunday receives double the ordinary time rate, NOT the applicable casual loading.
