13. SUPERANNUATION

Note: The Superannuation Legislation Amendment (Choice of Superannuation Funds) Act 2005 provides that individual employees generally have the opportunity to choose their own superannuation funds. 13.1 The employer shall make payments to a superannuation fund equal to the employer’s liability under the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation, in addition to salary and allowances. Salary and allowances for the purposes of this clause means:

• award classification rate; and
• over-award payment.

13.2 Salary and allowances does not include bonuses, commission, payment for overtime or other extraordinary payment, remuneration or allowance.
