6. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER AWARDS

6.1 The making of this award will not in itself operate to reduce the conditions of employment of an employee, which were in existence immediately prior to or at the commencement of this award in respect of allowable award matters.

6.2 This award will be read subject to the Higher Education Contract of Employment Award 1998 (as varied from time to time).
