AP824979 - Clerks’ (Capral Aluminium Limited) Award 2003
3.1 This award shall apply to Capral Aluminium Limited, including its subsidiary companies, as to the employment by them of members and employees eligible to be members of the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union in or in connection with the aluminium industry in Australia.
3.2 Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, this award shall apply to such clerical employment in respect of the mining of bauxite and brown coal, the generation of power, the refining of bauxite to aluminium oxide or alumina and the smelting, production or manufacture of aluminium and the fabrication and semi-fabrication of aluminium by whatever process and all operations ancillary to each and all of the foregoing including therein:
3.2.1 the making, manufacture, treatment, maintenance, repair and reconditioning of any aluminium article, part or component;
3.2.2 all sorting, packing, despatching, distribution and transport;
3.2.3 the making, manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance, repair and reconditioning of plant, equipment, buildings and services (including power supply);
3.2.4 every operation, process, duty and function carried on or performed in the foregoing aluminium industry.
3.3 All references to the industry or callings set out in this clause wherever expressed may be read either alternatively or collectively in any combination whatsoever.
