20.1 Any employee called upon to do work of a higher grade than that in which they are working, shall, if so employed for at least one half hour and less than four hours, be paid the rate of pay for the grade for the time so employed. If so employed for four hours or more, they shall be paid for the higher grade for the whole day.
20.2 Provided that should any employee work for fifteen hours or more in any one week on duties carrying a higher rate than their ordinary grade, they shall be paid the higher rate for such work for the whole period.
20.3 A weekly employee shall not suffer any deduction in wages during any week by reason of his having been put to work for a part of such week at a grade lower than that under which they were engaged or deemed to be working.
