3.1 An employee shall be paid for each week worked, the rate specified for a Grade 4 employee under clause 19 - Wages of Part 1 of this award.
3.2 An indentured Apprentice shall be paid the following percentages of the rate specified for a Grade 4 employee for the trade classification in which the Apprentice is indentured (three or four year apprenticeships):

The foregoing rates shall be calculated to the nearest 10 cents.
3.3 Where an indentured Apprentice reaches the age of 21, and the appropriate rate would not otherwise be at least equal to the rate for a Grade 1 employee, the Apprentice shall be paid at the rate specified for a Grade 1 employee until the appropriate rate increases to above that rate.
Employees under Part 2 of this award shall receive a supervisory allowance as detailed under clause 19 - Wages of Part 1 of this award.
