15.1 An employee engaged for more than two hours during one day or shift on duties carrying a higher rate than their ordinary classification shall be paid the higher rate for such day or shift. If for two hours or less during one day or shift they shall be paid the higher rate for the time so worked.
15.2 Provided that this clause shall not apply to an employee performing the duties of an employee of a higher classification who is absent on a rostered day off prescribed under clauses 21 - Hours of work or 22 - Shiftwork.
