39.1 Where an employee is detained at work until it is too late to travel by the last ordinary bus, train or other regular public conveyance to the employee’s usual place of residence, the employer shall provide the cost of proper conveyance.
39.2 If an employee is required to start work before the first means of public conveyance (hereinbefore described) is available to convey the employee from his or her usual place of residence to the place of employment, the employer shall provide the cost of proper conveyance free of charge.
39.3 The provisions of this clause do not apply to an employee who usually has his or her own means of conveyance.
