22. REST RELIEF AFTER OVERTIME
22.1 An employee is entitled to a minimum of eight hours break, plus reasonable travelling time, between completing overtime and recommencing normal duty. Any resultant absence from normal duty would be paid at normal rates.
An employee required by the Company to resume or continue work without having eight consecutive hours off duty plus reasonable travelling time, will be paid at double rate until release from duty for a minimum eight hours plus reasonable travel time.
22.2 Rest relief does not apply to overtime worked in the case of emergency duty unless the actual time worked (excluding travelling time) is at least three hours on each call.
22.3 This clause will only apply to employees who are eligible for the minimum overtime payment.
