21.1 Employees other than shift workers who work on Sundays must be paid at the rate of double time for all time worked on Sundays.
21.2 Employees required to work on Sundays must be paid for a minimum of four hours. If more than four hours are worked, the employee must be paid for the period actually worked.
21.3 By mutual consent the Company may allow an employee, other than a shift worker who regularly works Sundays and public holidays, time in lieu, if practicable, instead of paying penalty rates for Sundays. If time in lieu is not practicable, the hours must be added to the employee’s annual leave.
21.4 An employee who works on a Sunday and, except for meal breaks, continues such work, must on being relieved from duty, be released until he or she has had ten consecutive hours off duty. The employee should be paid for ordinary working time occurring during the absence.
21.5 Employees on salaries in excess of the maximum of level 4, other than those who are rostered as seven day shift workers, who are required to work on Sundays are not entitled to the payments provided for in this subclause.
