PART 4 - HOURS OF WORK 

14. HOURS OF WORK

14.1 Subject to the provisions of this clause the ordinary hours of work for an employee will not exceed ten hours per day nor 38 hours per week.

14.2 The normal starting and finishing times of ordinary hours for full-time employees will be established at the point of engagement and may only be varied by the employer with 48 hours’ notice or shorter period as may be mutually agreed.

14.3 Where the employer requires an employee to work either before the normal starting times or after the normal starting times identified in 14.2 the employee will be entitled to receive payment for the hours worked at the rate of time and a half for the first three hours and double time thereafter.
