16.1 Full-time employees will receive a paid rest break of ten minutes duration in the first and second half of each day worked.
16.2 Employees other than full-time who work a minimum of four consecutive ordinary hours but no more than six consecutive ordinary hours on any one day will receive a rest break of ten minutes duration. Employees who work in excess of six consecutive ordinary hours (excluding meal break) on any one day will receive a rest break of ten minutes duration in the first and second half of the period worked.
16.3 Such rest breaks will be taken at such times as will not interfere with continuity of work where continuity is necessary.
16.4 Notwithstanding the foregoing, where the employer and the employees agree, the rest breaks may be combined.
