PART 8 - TRANSFERS, TRAVELLING AND WORKING AWAY FROM USUAL PLACE OF WORK 

35. TRAVELLING, TRANSPORT AND FARES REIMBURSEMENT

35.1 Where an employee is required to work overtime and his or her usual form of transport is not available the employer must provide a proper conveyance free of charge to transport the employee from the place of work to his or her usual place of residence.

35.2 Employees engaged as grocer’s collectors and/or ordermen or orderwomen including employees soliciting business away from the employer’s place of business, must be reimbursed all moneys reasonably expended in travelling on the employer’s business.

35.3 Employees temporarily transferred from one branch to another must be reimbursed any extra cost of travelling and must be paid at ordinary rates for half any excess time occupied in travelling.
