21. EXTRA RATES NOT CUMULATIVE

Extra rates as prescribed by this award are not cumulative so as to exceed the maximum of double the ordinary rates. Overtime will not be paid for twice but will be paid for at the rate that is to the employee’s advantage, subject to the exceptions prescribed in 23.5 or 25.4, (as applicable) of this award.
