20.1 Employees shall be reimbursed for the cost of purchasing one pair of appropriate safety footwear each twelve months except where the employer provides such footwear.
20.2 Should replacement be required due to fair wear and tear in a lesser period than twelve months, the employee will be reimbursed for the further purchase of such footwear except where they are replaced by the employer.

20.3 Where an employer does not reimburse, or provide footwear to, an employee as set out in 20.1 of this award, the employee shall be paid a footwear allowance of $2.30 per week.
