15A. TRANSITIONAL WAGE RATES FOR VICTORIA—APPLICATION OF COMMON RULE AWARD

15A.1Clause 15A of this award contains the following transitional rates of pay and allowances for employers in the state of Victoria who were previously not bound by this award, but are now subject to the award by virtue of the award having been declared a common rule under s.141 of the Workplace Relations Act 1996.
15A.2These rates of pay and allowances apply only until 31 July 2005.

15A.5Meal allowance
15A.5.1 Overtime (clause 17.1.1)
An employee required to work not less than one hour of overtime after his or her ordinary time of ending work shall be paid a meal allowance of $8.65, where 24 hours notice has not been given. Provided that where such overtime work exceeds four hours a further meal allowance of $7.80 shall be paid.
15A.5.2 Late night (clause 17.1.2)
Any weekly employee entitled pursuant to 17.1.1 to a second meal break on a week day shall be paid a meal allowance of $8.65.
15A.5.3 Sunday (clause 17.1.3)
An employee required to work more than four hours overtime on a Sunday shall be paid a meal allowance of $8.65 and a further $7.80 when required to work more than eight hours on such day.
15A.6 Special clothing allowance (clause 17.1.7(b))
Where an employee is required to launder any special uniform, dress or other clothing, the employee shall be paid an allowance of $4.00 per garment per week.
