25.1 No employer must employ any person for more than five hours continuously without an interval for a meal.
25.2 All employees are allowed a minimum of 45 minutes to 60 minutes maximum for a first meal interval, and where applicable not more than 45 minutes for a second meal interval on any one day. However where it is mutually agreed between the employer and the employee, the first meal interval can be less than 45 minutes but no less than 30 minutes.
25.3 All employees are allowed to leave the salon for the whole of the interval.
25.4 No employee is to commence lunch before noon unless she or he has worked a minimum of three hours, unless otherwise mutually agreed.
25.5 Meal breaks do not count as time worked.
