16.2 Employees required by the employer to make themselves available for the purposes of the employer outside ordinary hours of duty shall be paid an allowance of $21.35 per day for the period Friday, Saturday and Sunday and public holidays and $15.30 for any other day, in addition to any other payments due to them under the terms of this award.
16.3 Under emergency circumstances, employees required to hold themselves in readiness to work after ordinary hours, will be paid stand-by time at ordinary rates until released.
