18.1 A period of prior service at the University as a fixed term employee immediately preceding a continuing appointment shall be recognized by the University for the purpose of calculating the employee's long service leave and sick leave entitlements.
18.2 Long service leave credits are transferable in whole or in part between Universities in accordance with the terms of the Second Tier agreement ratified by the Australian Conciliation and Arbitration Commission on 21 June 1988.
B. This order will come into force on and from 2 September 2002 and shall remain in force for a period of twelve months.
