27.1 All employees (other than shift workers) will be allowed two rest intervals on each day as follows:
27.1.1 the first, of ten minutes, will be allowed between the time of commencing work and the usual meal interval;
27.1.2 the second, of ten minutes will be allowed between the usual meal interval and the time of ceasing work for the day;
27.1.3 such intervals are to be counted as part of time worked.
27.2 Rest breaks will be taken having regard to the work in progress and at times which minimise the interruption to work then being performed.
