11.1 Rates of wages payable to all employees irrespective of age shall be:

11.1.1 The above rates are inclusive of a casual loading of 25% and are to be used as the base ordinary hourly rate of pay for casual and full-time employees. The loading payable to casual employees is in lieu of sick and annual leave. Full-time employees shall commence at classification level 2.
11.1.2 The rates of pay in this award include the adjustment made by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission in its Wages and Allowances Review 2008. This arbitrated safety net adjustment may be offset against any equivalent amount in rates of pay received by employees whose wages and conditions of employment are regulated by this award which are above the wage rates prescribed in the award. Such above award payments include wages payable pursuant to certified agreements, currently operating enterprise flexibility agreements, Australian workplace agreements, award variations to give effect to enterprise agreements and overaward arrangements. Absorption which is contrary to the terms of an agreement is not required.
11.1.3 Increases made under previous National Wage Case principles or under the current Statement of Principles, excepting those resulting from enterprise agreements, are not to be used to offset arbitrated safety net adjustments.
11.2 Federal minimum wage
11.2.1 Subject to the classification level and base rates set out in clause 11.1. No employee shall be paid less than the federal minimum wage.
11.2.2 Amount of federal adult minimum wage
11.2.2(a) The federal minimum wage for full-time adults employees is $543.75 per week and, for junior, part-time and casual employees, a proportionate amounts.
11.2.2(b) Adults employed as casual employees will receive the wage determined in clause 11.1 hereof.
11.2.3 Application of federal minimum wage to award rates calculation
The federal minimum wage:
11.2.3(a) applies to all work in ordinary hours.
11.2.3(b) applies to the calculation of overtime and all other penalty rates, superannuation, payments during sick leave, long service leave and annual leave, and for all other purposes of this award; and
11.2.3(c) is inclusive of the adjustment made by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission in its Wages and Allowances Review 2008 and all previous safety net and national wage adjustments.
11.2.4 The rates of pay in this award include the federal minimum wage payable under the adjustment made by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission in its Wages and Allowances Review 2008. Any increase arising from the insertion of the federal minimum wage clause may be offset against any equivalent amount in rates of pay received by employees whose wages and conditions of employment are regulated by this award which are above the wage rates prescribed in the award. Such above award payments include wages payable pursuant to certified agreements, currently operating enterprise flexibility agreements, Australian Workplace Agreements, award variations to give effect to enterprise agreements and overaward arrangements. Absorption which is contrary to the terms of an agreement is not required.
11.2.5 Increases made under previous National Wage Case principles or under the current Statement of Principles, excepting those resulting from enterprise agreements, are not to be used to offset the federal minimum wage.
11.3 In addition to the above hourly rate the following allowance shall be paid to delivery drivers for the use of their vehicle for each delivery made. The times and distances for each zone are in average for that zone and the times and distances are calculated on a one way basis from store to delivery point. The allowances are as follows:

11.3.1 Each employer respondent to this Award shall specify at each delivery depot the delivery areas that fall both within and outside the kilometre distance nominated in this clause.
