PICTURE THEATRES
1.1 Picture theatres are exempted from the provisions of 13.4, 23 - Hours, and 25.1 of this award to the following extent:
1.1.1 Picture theatre kiosk employees engaged by the hour or by the performance must be paid at the rate each hour of 1/38th of the appropriate ordinary weekly wage plus 15%.
1.1.2 However any employee required to work after 7.30 p.m. on any day Monday to Friday inclusive must be paid 15% additional to total day work rates.
1.1.3 Provided further that all time worked on a Saturday must be payable at the ordinary rate prescribed plus 15%. On Sundays and for public holidays the hourly rate must be double the ordinary rate prescribed.
1.1.4 The time of cessation of the ordinary hours of work is 10.30 p.m.
1.1.5 Despite anything contained elsewhere in this award, an employee who works on any day after 6.40 p.m. and who works not more than five hours since commencing on that day must be entitled to a paid crib break of twenty minutes in lieu of any meal break and/or rest pause entitlement and meal allowance entitlement.
