Fair Work Commission President, Justice Hatcher spoke at the Australian Industry Group PIR Conference today.
In his speech, Justice Hatcher provided information about our performance over the 2022-23 reporting period and a review of our implementation of the Secure Jobs Better Pay Act.
Justice Hatcher reports that we met or exceeded our Key Performance Indicators and are carrying no backlogs in any case type. This follows the adoption of new targets last year so we could more accurately measure our performance.
In the speech, Justice Hatcher outlines the major reforms affecting our functions introduced by the Secure Jobs, Better Pay legislation. He describes what we have done to implement each of these reforms in an open and transparent way with the needs of our users constantly in mind.
