Whistleblowing about a registered organisation

If you are an officer, employee or member of a registered organisation,

OR if you (or your employer) provide services or goods to a registered organisation

AND you see something that is not quite right (and seems to be against the law), you may report your concern. (This is known as a ‘disclosure’).

The concern must relate to a registered organisation.

You can report your concern directly to that registered organisation, to the Fair Work Commission, to the Fair Work Ombudsman, or to an administrator appointed to the Construction and General Division of the CFMEU and its branches.

Certain types of disclosure qualify for protection.

The Commission assesses each disclosure and determines what needs to be investigated.
