Enterprise agreements

To end an agreement before its nominal expiry date, use Form F24.

To end an agreement after its nominal expiry date, use Form F24b.

Agreement-based transitional instruments

To end an agreement-based transitional instrument at any time, use Form F28.

Individual agreements

Individual agreements are Australian Workplace Agreements (AWAs) and Individual Transitional Employment Agreements (ITEAs).

Our authority to end agreements and instruments

The Fair Work Act 2009 and the Fair Work (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 2009 give us the power to terminate:

• enterprise agreements made from 1 July 2009
• collective agreements (also called agreement-based transitional instruments) made before 1 July 2009
• individual agreements (Australian Workplace Agreements or AWAs and Individual Transitional Employment Agreements or ITEAs).
