After the Commission hears an appeal, it issues a decision. We send a copy of the decision to the parties in the case.

Find a decision on an appeal
We publish all decisions on our website. Search for a decision about an appeal. You will need to know the title of the appeal or the case reference number ('matter number').
We also publish statistics about appeals in our Annual reports, including:
- outcomes of appeals
- whether we gave or refused permission to appeal.
Further options to challenge a decision
Parties who do not agree with the outcome of an appeal may apply for a judicial review. The Federal Court of Australia runs judicial reviews.
Originating applications seeking judicial review of a Commission decision which have been sealed by the Federal Court of Australia should be served on the Commission via lodge@fwc.gov.au.
