Expiry of Fair Work entry permits A Fair Work entry permit expires:3 years from its date of issue ORwhen you are no longer an official (an employee or office holder) for the union that applied for your permit, whichever is earlier.You must return a Fair Work entry permit to us within 7 days of expiry.There can be penalties if you do not return a permit. Cancelled and suspended entry permits You must return your entry permit if the Commission:suspends ORcancels ORput conditions on it.Your entry permit must be returned to us within 7 days if this happens.There can be penalties if you do not return a permit. Expiry of WHS entry permits A WHS entry permit expires:3 years from its date of issue ORwhen your Fair Work entry permit expires or is revoked ORwhen you are no longer an office holder for the union that applied for your permit ORthe union that applied for your permit is no longer registered under the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009, whichever is earlier.You must return a WHS entry permit to us within 14 days of expiry.There can be penalties if you do not return a permit.
