People sign an agreement the right way when:
The employer signs it AND
At least 1 employee or employee representative signs it (not all employee representatives need to sign it) AND
Each person who signs the agreement:
prints their full name
writes their full address, which can be their work address
explains the authority they have, such as their role or position title.
Please note that applications for approval of enterprise agreements also require lodgment of an original digital copy of the agreement.
an original digital copy of the agreement with the same wording as the signed agreement. This is a file created in or exported from a word processing program, such as a Word document (docx), Rich Text Format (rtf) file, or PDF (pdf). It must not be a scanned copy or photocopy. If the signed agreement is not an original digital file, upload both the signed copy and the original digital copy.
Your application and any declarations also need the right signatures and contact details. Follow the instructions on those forms.
Note: We publish the agreement, including the signature page, on this website. You may prefer to use your business or work contact details, not your personal details.
