The Commission determined to join these proceedings so that these matters will be heard concurrently.

Below is a short summary of each matter:
| AM2025/14 | In June 2025, Sharp Aviation made an application under section 158 and section 160 of the Fair Work Act 2009. The application seeks to vary clauses 13 and 15.2 of the Air Pilots Award 2020 relating to stand-by, averaging ordinary hours and training bonds. |
| AM2026/4 | In February 2026, the Australian Federation of Air Pilots made an application under section 158 of the Fair Work Act 2009. The application seeks to vary multiple clauses of the Air Pilots Award 2020 relating to training bonds, hours of duty, annual leave and other conditions. |
