Apply to make a minimum standards order (Form F87A)

You must meet certain requirements to be eligible to apply.

Only use Form F87A if you are:

• an organisation that is entitled to represent the industrial interests of one or more regulated workers who would be covered by the proposed minimum standards order
• an organisation that is entitled to represent the industrial interests of one or more of the regulated businesses that would be covered by the proposed minimum standards order
• a regulated business that is included in a class of regulated businesses that would be covered by the proposed minimum standards order, or
• the Minister. 

Have this information ready before you start Form F87A. You will need to give us:

• the applicant’s contact details
• their representative’s contact details (if they have one)
• details about the minimum standards order they are applying for, including:
  • the type of order
  • the class of regulated workers it covers
  • the class of regulated businesses it covers
  • the work it covers
  • what it contains
  • how it meets the requirements of the Fair Work Act 2009.

We will email you to confirm we have received your application.

Applications are dealt with by a Full Bench or Expert Panel of the Commission, who may then organise a hearing or conference.
