The Commission is considering two applications to vary the Aircraft Cabin Crew Award 2020.
The Commission determined to join these proceedings so that these matters will be heard concurrently.

Below is a short summary of each matter:
| AM2025/8 | In May 2025 the Flight Attendants' Association of Australia made an application under section 158 of the Fair Work Act 2009. The application seeks to vary multiple clauses in the Aircraft Cabin Crew Award 2020 and the classification structure to address alleged gender-based undervaluation. |
| AM2026/3 | In February 2026 the Transport Workers' Union of Australia made an application under section 158 of the Fair Work Act 2009. The application seeks to vary provisions in the Aircraft Cabin Crew Award 2020 relating to duty hours, classifications, minimum rates, meal breaks and annual leave loading. |
