The Commission proposes to vary the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 and Restaurant Industry Award 2020 under section 160 of the Fair Work Act 2009.
On 2 May 2022, the President issued a statement expressing the provisional view that, following the repeal of section 27(2) of the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992, reference to the monthly minimum threshold for salary or wages counting toward the superannuation guarantee should be deleted from the awards.
