Variation to the Superannuation clause in six Modern Awards (AM2012/356 and others)

Fair Work Australia proposed to vary the superannuation clause in 6 modern awards pursuant to section 160(2)(a) of the Fair Work Act 2009, to remove ambiguity or uncertainty or correct error, in relation to the merger of the National Catholic Superannuation Fund (NCSF) and Catholic Super (CSF).

The 6 awards subject to this proposed variation were:

• the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010
• the Aged Care Award 2010
• the Nurses Award 2010
• the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2010
• the Educational Services (Teachers) Award 2010, and
• the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2010.

The schedule of proposed changes to the superannuation clauses were published for comment.
