| What is a minimum standards order?A minimum standards order creates legally binding minimum standards for certain workers and businesses. An order may include terms about payment, insurance and other work standards. |

| Who made the application?The Transport Workers’ Union of Australia (TWU). On 3 November 2025, we directed the TWU to send us a draft of the order it wants us to make. On 24 November 2025, the TWU gave us its draft order. Uber and DoorDash have agreed to the TWU’s draft order. On 17 December 2025, Amazon gave us its preferred draft. |

Other parties might ask for the order to cover different people or work. We have not made a decision to make an order or decided who or what it will cover. If we make an order, it will be after consulting affected workers and businesses. Phrases such as employee-like worker and digital labour platform, as well as the other rules we must follow in considering this application, are found in the Fair Work Act.
