Fact sheet about draft time-sensitive road transport contractual chain order released

Today we have made available a fact sheet about the draft time-sensitive road transport contractual chain order published on Tuesday 14 April 2026. 

The fact sheet includes information about the draft order and the submissions process that is currently running. 

The draft order was published following a 3-day hearing of a joint emergency application by the Transport Workers' Union of Australia (TWU) and the Australian Road Transport Industrial Organization (ARTIO). 

Workers, businesses and other stakeholders have until 12 noon (AEST) on 17 April 2026 to make a written submission about the draft order.
