About the TFTU

Date of registration: 17 April 2026, following the organisation withdrawing from its amalgamation with the Construction, Forestry and Maritime Employees Union (CFMEU).

The organisation has 7 branches, referred to as districts:
- New South Wales District,
- Victorian District,
- South Australian District,
- Tasmanian District,
- Queensland-Northern Territory-Western Australian District,
- Pulp and Paper Workers' District, and
- Greater Green Triangle District.
The supreme governing body of the organisation is the National Conference, which consists of the National Executive, and Delegates from the Districts.
The organisation also has a TCF Sector, managed by the TCF Sector Council.
All TFTU elections are conducted by the AEC, and all offices in the organisation have 4 year terms.
