The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs Better Pay) Act 2022 has received Royal Assent. This will change some of the Acts that are relevant to our work. Updates and related changes to our processes will be published on this page.

On 6 December 2022 the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs Better Pay) Act 2022 received Royal Assent.
The Secure Jobs Better Pay Act amends the following Acts which are relevant to the Commission’s work:
- Fair Work Act 2009
- Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009
- Fair Work (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 2009
The amendments will commence in stages over a 12 month period.
