Introduction
The Commission intends to change Schedule B of the Hair and Beauty Industry Award 2020 on its own motion.
Content
This application is made under section 160 of the Fair Work Act 2009 to address an ambiguity arising from the implementation of transitional penalty rates for casuals in matter AM2017/40.
Schedule B of the Hair and Beauty Industry Award 2020 will be varied on 31 December 2022. Further variations reflecting the remaining transitional increases to come into effect on 30 April 2023 and on 31 December 2023 will be issued in due course.
