There are 3 ways to find a modern award:
- Use the Modern awards list below to read your award online
- Download a list of all current and modern awards (Excel)
- Use the document search to find an award by searching for text or keywords that are in the award.
If you don’t know if an award covers you, or which award is yours, you can find the right award on the Fair Work Ombudsman's website.

You may apply to us to make, change or revoke an award. We publish details of all applications in progress. We publish details of award reviews with our major cases.
Changing modern awards

Existing awards are being changed extensively as a result of the 4 yearly review of modern awards. Some awards are also being rewritten using plain language principles, to make them easier to understand and use.
Most modern awards have already been changed, and are now available from the Modern awards list below. Awards that have been changed can be identified by the year 2020 in their title.
Modern awards list
All awards in this list are current. We updated many awards in 2020 as part of our review process and these have ‘2020’ in their title. The reference ‘MA000***’ shows this is a modern award.
